Beautiful work on all that hidden detail. Where do you find your small diameter brass tubing?

Thanks! I like the Albion Slide Fit Brass Tube sets. SFT1 (0.4mm, 0.6mm, 0.8mm and 1.0mm) or SFT2 (0.3mm, 0.5mm, 0.7mm and 0.9mm) seem to suit most of my needs (I mostly model aircraft in 1/48 with a few 1/32 subjects). They are made so that each size can slide up into the next larger size, which comes in very handy.

Thanks for that information! I need to get some. Like you, I build aircraft mostly in 1/48 with some 1/32 as well. And 1/35 armor... that stuff might even work for certain guns on 1/350 ships as well...

No problem! My search for hollow tubing started off with stainless steel. That wasn't a great choice given how hard it is to cut. The brass is nice... you just have to gently roll it under a sharp x-acto blade and you get a nice clean cut.

Thank you very much for those fantastic in-progress shots! You are really a master in painting and airbrushing!
So good to have you around here, I am sure me and the gang can learn a lot from you!

Very nice WIP-shots. The cockpit painting looks so delicate.
