Great build of a kit that you don't normally see! Italian camo will be a challenge at 1/72!

Mikey welcome back! It's great to see you again. Thanks for the memories; I built one of these along with the Re-2001 and Re-2002 back in the day. Yours looks magnificent so far. I'm looking forward to seeing it in paint.

Nope Thomas, Regia marina had no carriers: the re2000 was used on battleship or heavy cruisers, mainly when near to the coast with some chance to landing on airfields. If you notice on some Littorio class ship models you can spot the little reggiane on catapults :)

Also who wants to correct horizontal tail surfaces building supermodel reggianes (re2000, 2001, 2002) , need at least to move the rudders backward till the end of tail

BsY, did you scratch build those or did they come with the kit? I'd love to see more of that build.
