Stik, I'm sure a lot of companies would be surprised at how well a new P-36 kit would sell. No matter the scale.

Lyle... What? Where?

I've noticed a bit of overspray is getting past my foam pit masking onto my pilot, but I shouldn't have a problem fixing that. I has my ways lol.
Mike, here to the left of the P-40.

Mike I agree 100%. It's a good looking aircraft with a decent record in combat and flown by numerous nations around the world. I just can't see Tamiya doing one anytime soon in 1/32 for the reason I mentioned. 1/48 perhaps yes. But then Airfix and Bronco both already have a head start on them there since they both have a new tool P-40B kit, which shares the wings and tail with the P-36.

You're probably right in that they would go with 1/48 before they'd produce it in 1/32, but I'm a dreamer lol.

I already have the AMT (ERTL/Esci rebox) that still needs a lot of work lol.

I have a few of the Hobbycraft P-36's. I have built one as Harry Brown's Pearl Harbor mount. I built that AMT P-36 when it was new back in the 70's... The Hobbycraft Hawks are MUCH nicer!
