Thanks fellas.
The biggest issue I've found so far is with all that details things are TIGHT. You have to be very careful with exact placement of parts to make sure future parts are going to fit. And there's limited positive feedback for a lot of parts. Oh and the instructions suck balls. I spend half my time looking for references to try to find out where something goes. It's frustrating. But I'm getting there with trial and error. Check check check glue find out it's wrong unglued move glue again.
Currently habe the body buttoned up. Will get photos and upload a bit later.

If you need any help whatsoever, ask away. I've built the kit in it's various variants 5x so have a bit of experience. In my opinion, these kits and their Avenger kits are some of the best in the scale. The company used to have excellent build tips on their site...I really wish I had copied them when it was still up...the In Detail and Scale book from Bert Kinzey is one of the best resources out there

I can look to see if my AM instructions are any different and hopefully help you out some.

That would be awesome dude. Thanks.
Ok, small update.
Overall fit is pretty ok. Hard to squeeze everything in to that tiny space though. (Lots of creaking while i was gluing, had to hold it pretty tight till the glue went off)
Another View.
This area sucks. I may have to cut it out and reglue it. It just wont sit down right. I had 3 goes at it last night and i look this morning and theres a manky great thumb print in the middle of it and its popped up again. So annoyed.
One piece tail wheel. Should look pretty good once its all painted up.
This is the ejector pin mark that was mentioned earlier. As you can see it sits behind the IP and will be covered by the cowling.
I view of the detail that's visible. Not much huh?
As always C&C welcome.

It's a damn shame that AM went under. Their website had a section dedicated to tips from modelers dealing with tricky areas of various kits.

Did their avenger kit get reboxed? Id be keen to try it if it did. My grandfather trained as a wireless operator in one when they found out he was too young to be a pilot.

Yes, by both Italeri and Academy. There is also the new tooled Hobbyboss Avenger kits that offer a folded wing build option if your into that.
