I think so. Not so much as to be overdone, but enough to show the wear and aging. Korea was a very harsh environment on aircraft. The conditions there at airfields were quite austere.

The pastel interference layers look good, and are very much in line with the photos Carlos posted. Plus, what he wrote about adverse conditions in Korea are also spot on. Also, I believe an honest, supportive critical approach is correct, and hold that line. I wish experts would take the advice from Sun Tzu who suggested that a great warrior behave strong when they feel weak and behave weak when they are strong.

As a case in point, I joined a FW 190 D-9 group online to further research the Dora project, but found the “strong” words and behavior by several members to be combative. I may be guessing through your words, but it seems to me modelers can be a tough crowd. I daily thank SPA Modeler as a haven for talented, creative and supportive modelers.

Bruce I've been on a few sites where I eventually stopped participating due to the prevailing attitude of the sites. Hexperten and knowitalls with zero tact or social skills are running the place. If they spoke in the same manner in real life face to face with people as they do on those sites, they would get a well deserved knuckle sandwich. But from the safety of the internet, they and their cronies can rule their roost. No thanks. These places are about enjoyment, not urinary contests.

I appreciate research, knowledge, skill, and such as much as the next guy. But don't lord it over everybody. And expect everybody to want or try the same things.

Well said, Carlos. Bruce, we have always prided ourselves on being very inclusive and non-judgmental. We have had a few that became "keyboard bullies" and they were banned, warned, then banned. One, we even gave way too many chances to repent. This is a good group of folks.

Ugh, about a month late to the show. But not late enough to say that I'm impressed by the outcome of this neat little bird.
