Test fitting... then your choice is to sand before or after glueing to get a proper fit... but well done to fix that up...

Thanks Stik. That's how I discovered all the issues was from test fitting.

Do intakes EVER fit? I've yet to come across some that did.
Great bit of work though, that's looking excellent!

I guess this F-5 was one of the first Hobby Boss kits in 72, carry-over from Trumpeter or MiniHobby (?). You can see that on the panel lines, which look more like Matchbox than modern Hobby Boss.
Nevertheless the decal Option with the Brazilian one is very interesting. Could you please share the camo for that Version?
I will follow here. Very interesting.
Well, I assume I have got a long experience with bad fitting kits. I can only recommend to keep head down to fight for the shape you want....
