Glued upper wing after fishing finishing to glue all starts of rigging :




Double wires from fuselage to the bottom wing



And from gear to upper wing . Also two single wires in the middle

Brilliant work man! You make rigging those small biplanes look so easy. Every time I try, I invariably break something; setting me back five steps.

Good training. I did manage to rig a 1/72 scale DH.2 sometime back, and didn't break a thing!

I used stretched sprue for mine but I found the double wires diffult. You solution looks very good.

You make rigging look easy. All the more the reason I’ve put off building my Sopwith Camel kit. Gotta get a guinea pig of a bi-plane kit first to learn and practice on. Looking into some AM pieces of eyelets and turnbuckles. Also looking into EZ line product too.

i used stretched sprue to on some plane but no way compared to the strenght of fishing wire i use mainly: you can make lots of mistakes withouth fear to break rigging

I have also a camel and a se5a sterted some month ago





finshed last night to scratch missing pieces (instructions just say scratch it..) , structures at the bottom of tail and pilot step





then tamiya putty cure and (after clean with alcool) some layer of vallejo primer
