Night is the best friend about modelling peace :bye:
Waiting for this rare subject , actually i have only a valom kit in the stash (but lots of short run ..) , an akatombo K5y akatombo (willow) but the kit seems recent and well detailed with eduard painted cockpit details (included in the box)

I have also one Valom kit in my stash, though not that rare, it's a 1/72 Fouga Magister...

What can I say? I'm a slow builder. Progress thus far this afternoon:

Cockpit painted up. I opt not to add the PE instrument panel since you're not going to see it, The clear sheet I did use though.

Main gear doors PE and styrene pieces

Propeller assembly

Tail rudders glued on each fuselage halves

Bombs with PE fins. What fun those are to do. Yeah... they are tiny :lashed: :bored:

I used this stuff gluing PE. Great stuff and recommend having in your glue stash. Dries super fast. No accelerator needed to speed drying time.I got mine at: http://www.michtoy.com

Paint choices for kit

For Russian Green, I choose Aeromaster Topside Green. For underside color, I have debated between Aeromaster Russian Underside Blue Grey and Model Master Blue FS 35414. FS 35414 looks it could pass as RLM 64. I haven't made up my mind yet which one to use. I guess either color will do.

No pics but did a little bit of gap filling mainly on wings edges. No point in sanding it down and make it worse. Tomorrow, I'll start wet sanding them down and more. I'm hoping to start painting once I start buttoning up the fuselage and attach to the wings. There's no doubt more filling in will be done in problem areas.

I'm still debating whether or not to add the bombs rack points and bombs to the wings.

More to follow...

Wings buttoned up and filled in with putty and wet sanded to my satisfaction. (both front facing and rear facing portions of wings)

Next to marry them together. More filling will be anticipated... :bored:
