Sorry to read about the seam issues, but your work filling and sculpting is exquisite! Bravo!

Borg, That is looking great and a testament to your skills in bringing this forward despite the issues. Still, I have to say: This is still not nearly as bad as a Maquette kit or Armaggeddon kit. Even though it is a bad short run kit, this kit actually looks like a plane at this point. With a Maqquette or Armaggeddon kit, you just keep adding parts and then carve and sand the model out of the completed mass of plastic you just glued together..... using a chain saw and a belt sander! :Bur2:

Ask me how I know..... :headbang: :bag:

Keep plugging my man, you've got this.

bugger - I thought I'd replied to this.

I think you did a fantastic job sorting that short moulding out Borg, a very nicely done recovery!

Thanks for the support guys. I think will have to do one more round of putty and sanding because I still see some marks.

Still working on this kit. I gave it another round of putting and sanding. I also made a door on the right hand side (I had already made one left but some further research showed me there was also one on the right). Some panel lines where also rescribed, the gear bays and gear doors painted light grey.
I replaced the kit pitot tube (that thing buried in flash) with a needle.

Tonight: quality control, is everything as smooth as I want. If yes, then paint!
