Bruce, all that AM is really going to make that kit pop. That's going to be a nice build.
Sterling, I've built many a Sterling kit, aircraft, not ships.
The 1st is good for me as well. I have several kits that will work. My issue is time to work on them right now. I'm still crazy busy but since the GB is open ended then I have plenty of time. I'll write the rules and post them to a new thread tomorrow.
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting the head off a Hydra, two more take it’s place.

Bruce, that is a beautiful bold choice... and for those considering joining, don’t forget the smaller craft that qualify...

Thanks, mate!
This project checks a lot of interesting boxes for me in addition to putting some fire into the shipbuilding area of the forum.
Modelcrazy set up a theme I am passionate about exploring; and thanks to internet research it was possible to find a low cost buy in.

I'm in! I got a ship back in April cause I've always wanted to build a WW2 ship. This is what I have.

I’ll bite on one condition .... if I can find a particular sub I’ve been wanting to build again from my youth years, the U.S.S. Nautilus.

Medicman, oh yeah, looks great! Those smart kit are supposed to be nice with PE included. I have the Z-38 but clearly can't use it here.....unless it was captured :hmm:
BlackSheep, you can always enter it now and build it whenever you find it

Alas, the only ship kit I have is the Cutty Sark - but I'll be watching you guys with interest.

Stuart, it will be great to have you peeking in on occasion.
Ya know, all it takes is anything American, even a landing craft or 1/350 sub. Maybe a Liberty ship?

I started a British flagged ship build on another site last year. If this is successful maybe I'll look into one here someday.
Also, again depending on success (which to me is at least one person besides me) I might start a German flagged ship build next year. Again with the same open ended finish date. :tease:
