2. Tamiya 1/48 F-16. The true "shake and bake" kit.

3. Trumpeter 1/35 Strykers. Not ONE problem building them.

I can't think of 5. :headslap:
I presume that you are not referring to the original 1/48 F-16, but instead mean their recent F-16C family... :hmm: Their original 1/48 F-16 looks a bit basic and rough, like their Harriers....

Strykers can fly? :giggles:
Under the right conditions they can! :giggles:

Since my experience is mainly with garage and vintage kit sets, my experience with choosing a challenging modern tooling version of any subject is minimal. However here are five kits purchased as I learn more about aircraft modeling which I believe are standard bearers for 1/48 and 1/32 scale:

Clockwise: Tamiya 1/48 Arrow, Wingnut Wings 1/32 Camel, Tamiya 1/48 Storch, Zoukei Mura 1/48 Ta152 H-1 and Zoukei Mura 1/32 Horten.

Bruce that Tamiya Storch is one nice building kit.

I have never built it but I hear that Tamiya P47 is the best building kit out there.

Tamiya P-47 Thunderbolt is a dream to put together. I have both the Bubbletop (currently in mid- assembly) and the Razorback.

Your project was the main reason I purchased the kit, Clint! I am also going to add four vintage kits here as well.

Somebody just published photos of their project to FB. I really have to stay away from FB when things look this good. 1/48 Tamiya:

That's awsome looking Bruce. It makes me want to go out and buy that kit now.
