Lovely aircraft. Is that the new Revell kit or a repop of the Supermodel kit?

Not yet Joe. The house is still being finished and we don’t take ownership until end of next month. Not to mention I have just under six months left to go until I retire. Right now I am slowly packing things and getting ready to move.

Cheers guys. Been a bit busy of late so sorry for my tardiness in getting back.

Borg, this is Revell own kit, first produced in 2006. It is a nice kit with some very nice detail. The tops of the fuselage around the 2 gun positions are designed so that they can be removed to see the detail inside. But i have glued them in place.

Goinbg to try and get an update done soon and its primed painted and decaled now.

I seem to have missed an update. I had the pre paint pics taken and loaded onto Flickr 10 days ago but seem to have forgotten to post them. So a double update this time.

Got the underside gondola masked up and fitted.

And the same for the pit canopy and upper turret.

After some primer, the paint. RLM 65 underneath and 72/73 on top. This ofcourse included the best bit of painting German aircraft, masking for the splinter camo.

And then the decals. I do like Xtradecals, they lay down nice and i have never had any issues with them.

Just somelight weathering to add, going to give it a wash with flry and some exhaust staining.

That is some really nice work!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
