No I can imagine they aren't.
(Mind you - the Chinese have some pretty hefty aircraft too!)
I'm getting pretty sold on the B although I still think we'd have been better off getting C's and a proper carrier set up so we could cross deck with you guys and the French - but it's really cool to see jets flying off a Royal Navy carrier again.

Carlos, I'm kinda glad there's more 1/72 scale aircraft bring built here. For the longest time it seemed there was nothing but 1/48 and 1/32! I feel a bit more at home now.
Still, regardless of scale; I am thrilled with the incredible quality of all these projects regardless of scale.
That includes this
Stuart; you did a tremendous job on that cockpit. Way to go man!
There's a 1/700 scale Izumo out there with the ski-ramp for F-35's, with some miniature planes to go on deck. I plan on getting one of those to go with the Izumo I'm currently working on. Now if someone would finally release a model of that newest British carrier!

The cockpit looks good! Don't worry about the little issue with the instrument panel. You'll get it fixed.
Oh and if you need any info, I have the SAM Publications book on the Tornado.

Thanks Mike!
Working on repairing the damage to the cockpit. The plastic is very brittle and keeps snapping. So far I'm made up some sprue tabs behind the IP and attached it to the upper fuselage half. I've also tided up the front of the tub.
I've also started this...

I feel like I'm getting there now the fuselage is together - hell of a lot of work to do yet though.
I thought it'd be nice to have a 1/72 build as well, especially if this Airfix kit goes south, it'll be good to have one to go with my NT Airfix Phantom and Hercy bird when I build them.
