Airfix and Heller often share molds and release kits under each other’s labels. They have released different versions of the Jaguar, Tornado, and Mirage 2000 under each other labels.

That is very true Carlos.

Well I'm slowly progressing this - the cockpit is done (apologies - I've forgotten to take a picture of the IP). I was pretty happy with the seat. I added the Ejection handle and the belts from lead wire and wine bottle foil. The decals on the head box are from a Mike Grant placard decal set.



The lid is supplied by Pringles..

I remember Heller being a fairly big player back in the day when I first started/stopped modeling. In the 80's.

I have to say the green isn't as bright in the flesh as it is in the photo!

Well I've managed to get a bit further along with this build - the cockpit is fitted, nose weight in, Fuselage together and inner intake parts fitted and painted.

So far it's going together well - I even have the right paints for it.



My favourite brushes need replacing though - I'll have to order some more before I paint it.
