Can't wait to see the squiggles! I would think the main challenge would occur before the paint leaves the airbrush... the paint/thinner mix.

The other 1/2 comes along as the hand cramps a bit, and I lose trigger control...get a bunch of sauce, without the spaghetti!

That'd be the hard part for me would be applying those squiggles. Looking VERY good so far.
Being that the 88 is one of your least favorite aircraft...what made you build this one Jeremy? Just curious.

Talk about an exercise in frustration!
I spent a good 4 hours on this thing. I'd get a couple perfect sqiggles...great spray, fine line, in scale...PERFECT.
Then it'd all go to hell. No spaghetti, just sauce. Back to the bench, strip away the crap...back to the booth, a couple good lines, some crap....back-n-forth.
I could not get the nice fine lines with any consistency, so had to go back over the nice ones to thicken em up, so the whole thing would at least be semi consistent (would be good in 1/48...a bit thick for 1/72)
Got started on the torpedos...another tedious exercise in frustration.
Individual prop blades. The PE fins are super thin...I think the only metal thinner than this stuff is gold leaf! Ya just breath and it bends.
The tail fin bracket is also super "sensitive"...I managed to bust both "arms" off one of em.
After an hour...I turned the lights out and had a rum-pop!
Still have 4 tiny bits to add to the one...
