Thanks Bruce. This is nothing too difficult. And essentially my third build on different version of the base kit. So no surprises in store for me with this. And it’s much easier to take photos in my new place than the last one. I’m learning hw to take advantage of the lighting here.

A lot of progress for one day. Do you paint the road wheels in place, or are they still remove able at this point?

Yes, this was about 3-4 hours at the bench. In this case, the road wheels are glued on and I’m going to paint them in place, using a method learned from one of the guys in AMPS. They will be weathered, all covered in mud/dirt, so his time saver (cheater) method works great. No need for stencils, or turning the wheels to do the rubber rims.

I'm interested in learning a new way to paint the road wheels. I'm not much of an armor builder, pretty much because I don't know much about the subjects but painting the road wheels are something that always put me off.
Cool subject. I've always liked the post Sherman pre Abrams light, med and heavy tanks.

That's a very cool project and subject, Carlos. Have fun with the instructions...

The basic method is exceptionally simple. I’m just adding a couple extra steps here for weathering choices on this particular build. They are not part of the basic quick and easy.

I like those tanks too! Most of those were fairly successful as well. The drivetrain, suspension, and running gear layout were pretty much identical in design with only minor variations in all of those designs. The ones that saw combat did prove their designs when crews were well trained and they were employed with proper tactics for the situations.

Dragon instructions- test fit everything, recheck instruction before adding glue on any assembly. So far, so good here.

Today’s update, the beginning of step 5.... tracks...

Each sprue has 44 track links and 44 Center guide teeth...



Here are 44 links assembled into lengths of sixes and fives... no center guide teeth added



After about 90+ minutes of needle file swipes and gluing I had 88 links completed into two runs of 24 and two runs of twenty, none with center guide teeth....



and that was enough for today... I find indy track links tedious and not enjoyable,,,, just like the real damn things, so I guess they get an A for results there...
