Perhaps. That is as good a reason as any! I should date the box with the purchase date because I have no idea as to when I got it. Oh well, onward in the death spiral!

That Tamiya offering looks like a good choice but you're going to have search for a good deal on it. Beautiful kits those Tamiya offerings are.

The first few years that i was back into the hobby, i bought a lot of junk. This may have been one of them. I would like a Beaufighter, but the 1/48 may be quite large enough! This rascal was huge.
