That looks real good so far Bish. Are wing the flight control surfaces separate parts or did you cut them out?

carlos, they are seperate parts and you get the option of dropped flaps on this one.

Andy, theres actually not that much work involved. Theres not that many parts.

Very nice! I have the Hasegawa AV-8B in the stash that I want to get to eventually.

That’s a nice option to have. And a low parts count is not bad either.

Its is. The kit gives you several options, such as open or closed doors, different intakes and so on. But they don't always tell you which option should be used depending on how you want to display it. Thats how i buggered up the intakes on the Sea Harrier.

The Harrier is now ready for priming and painting, just got to mask off the canopy and intakes.







The various doors and hatches will be painted off the kit.

While its in the paint shops, i will start on a weapons loader.

Been a while since i updated as the build slowed a bit, partly due to a painting issue. The Harrier has 3 shades of grey on it, though you can hardky distinguish the lighter 2 even in the flesh let along on the pics. I used Xtracolour for all 3 but for some reason the 3rd one took ages to dry, it was still tacky a week later. So i had to do quite a bit of repair work.





I put on a coat of Aqua gloss to seal the paint before adding the decals.









Next up some weathering.

Oooh... I like the three-tone grey finish!
