the p-80 I never liked, it was a plane that even if it had been ready for WWII would have been outdated and would have happened what happened years later in korea.

fine metallic paint and the great assembly

I disagree. The P-80 was in Europe in time for VE day, but never flew any combat sorties as they were still in the work up process when the war ended. Its' performance was pretty much equal to, if not superior to that of the Me-262, and on only a single engine. And it managed quite well in Korea against Soviet built piston engined aircraft that were equivelant to anything that the Luftwaffe, IJAAF, or IJNAF could have opposed the USAAF with in 1945/1946.

Again, I'm humbled by your praise Joe. Thank you so much! Yeah, I think the airport setting makes any of my models looks better than they are. And where else would they look more "at home" except in the air. And with the gusts that blow out there sometimes, that "option" is a distinct possibility too.

Thanks Stuart and Paul! Yeah, it's an oldie but a goodie, like so many great old Monogram kits. They just need a little "coaxing" along at times. Thanks for taking a look and for your nice comments gentlemen!
