That body looks killer in silver. Polish that paint out a bit and it will look superb.

Hmmm polishing that paint may be hard. I will think about it though,

Revell have done a nice job on this kit. Lots of nice detail but also lots of parts to work with. They did another more modern race car, the Corvette C7R. I wish they would do more of these, because they ARE quite fun and come out nicely.

I don’t know if you’re familiar with it or not, but a lot of the old car guys in OC IPMS used toothpaste to polish their car model paint jobs. Not gel, but old school basic tooth paste was the type of choice for that purpose.

I second this. I've heard some guys even swear by it. Like Carlos said, get the 'gritty' one, and use a soft polishing cloth and you'll be getting mirror smooth shines.

Novus polishes are great as well. I use them on cars and airliners and NMF military before painting.

It does look awesome in silver. Can't wait to see it painted in the blue.
