More work on the Mogami... finished the main bridge, mast, AA guns, anti aircraft battery deck, all 12 floatplanes - 4 "Petes", 4 "Jakes", a pair of "Daves" (Nakajima E8N) and a pair of Kawanishi Type 94 E7K1. Pics forthcoming. Damn, my eyes are tired from this.

Thank you, Carlos. I’m taking it slow on this one. Don’t be surprised if I get this one done in a week or so. I’ll be looking for another ship for this Group Build at some point in 2022.
Will it be the Tirpitz or the Bismarck? USS Yorktown or Lexington? German U-boat U-47? Japanese submarine? Who knows what I’ll find….

I finally got some free time to post some progress pics from earlier.
Base minus the deck is assembled
Main bridge
Main gun turrents 1, 2, & 3
Anti-Aircraft turrents
Anti-aircraft battery deck. There was one theory the deck were linoleum deck brown. Not sure if that's true or not but will investigate further.
Main mast
And finally the aircrafts. Only the Jakes and Petes will be used in this build.

I feel you pain! When I did the 1/700 USS Kennedy, it really strained my eyesight with the airwing.
