Thanks! Yeah that's seems very strange that we're rooting for MiGs and Sukhois. It's just par for the course the way things have been going the last few years.Stikpusher wrote:Great project! Funny how in this fight we’re rooting for MiGs and Sukhois…which are fighting Sukhois…

Added the main gear bays? It's an odd way of doing them. Also test fitted the intakes. I see a lot of work ahead.

Re: MiG-29 Fulcrum Ukrainian AF
Yesterday I added the front section of the lower fuselage with the lower rear section. I read that it's easier to build it this way than what the instructions tell you. The intakes are glued together as well. Need to clean them up, add the photoetch FOD covers and then install them on the fuselage.

Got the intakes attached. Now for the clean up. Filling and sanding.

Looking good so far. I need to pay attention to how this kit builds up.

Looking really good! I never had a urge to build a Russian aircraft or armor before but seeing all thos knocked out Russian equipment makes me want to build a dio.

Hmm. This is coming along great. I have the Academy Su-27 in the stash with some aftermarket Ukrainian decals. Just might turn into my first 48th jet in awhile

Re: MiG-29 Fulcrum Ukrainian AF
Thanks guys! The way I'm building this is the way I read in a few reviews. This isn't an easy build and there's going to be a lot of filling and sanding coming up.
It's funny cause I do not like most Russian hardware. I wanted to do a "support build" like so many others are doing for the Ukrainians.
