Had a heck of a time fitting the canopy. Parts just did not line up at all! Tring to sand things level resulted in me breaking the darn thing! :headbang:

Sourced a new canopy from the spares; the best fitting one happened to be a birdcage from a zero! Whelp. I sucked it up and managed not to crack the plastic while trimming and sanding. I worked my way up the grits, from 200 all the way up to 4000. A coating of Future restored clarity at that point, and we were good to go!

I had decided to get a few kits made up before I broke out the airbrush. I dont have a dedicated painting area, so getting everything set up is an ordeal.

Here's a pic of the trio, all primed up!

after a whole afternoon of painting, I then had this!

Here's the little tiger all ready for the next bit of work. And yes, that is a home-made sharkmouth! :Shark:

A Zero canopy? That is a very resourceful way to tackle the problem of a broken canopy.

Yup, just flipped it around and sanded down the frames. Good thing it was so thick!

Looking good! Well done on using the Zero canopy. That's using the old noggin!

echoing the others, good recovery on the canopy! They all looks good and the sharkey does look quite fearsome.

decals!

Most of the stripes are decals, but the ones beyond the tail, and on the canopy and drop tanks, were painted
