You and me both! The Russian fighters were fairly compact, and do have their own appeal in looks.

Nice choice of builds Carlos - that engine looks a great bit of moulding.

I love the MiG-3, I have build a few of them but not the ICM. I will be following this build for sure.

Wonderful choice of kit, Carlos. The qualities of design are truly captured from the days of pencils and protractors, in ways that more modern techniques lack. This fighter has the soul of a tiger!

Bruce, this design does have a certain flair about. The beginnings of the MiG Dynasty all started here. And yes, with the old fashioned style of design using pencil, paper, & assorted drafting tools.
I don’t think the soul of a Tiger so much as that of an unbroken horse.
Mike, this one has to wait for a couple more projects to wrap up before I can get this one going full bore.

Now that my last project is all wrapped up, I’m resuming work on this one, plus working on my Yellow Wing F2A as well. I’ll bounce back and forth between the two while glue or paint dries.
Today I built the cockpit and added some interior parts on the cowling area.
More to come soon as paint goes on…
