It is music wire cut to length + a half scosh so it would stay put while it was glued. On the wires betwee the floats, I had the idea of bending a piece of wire into a v-shape, with the v end at the fuselage and the cut lends on the floats.

Thanks, Stuart. No one was more surprised than me that it was as easy a fix as it should be. Happy, happy.

The rigging may be a bit out of scale, but it was much easier to work with.
