Never underestimate the stupidity of a thief. Someone stole my partners ashtray from outside our front door a couple weeks ago.

Here are some pics of the B-2. What a piece of trash. I will use plenty of Bondo, and will probably break out the liquid styrene, etc. Since it will be hanging from the soffett, I'm not too worried about wiping out some panel lines, etc.

I'd say that this looks worse than it is, but it doesn't! I do like the Bondo, though. Dries quick, sands easily. There will be a fair amount of polishing when done.



I sure hope that the person/persons that made these molds are long gone!





And for their exquisite work on the leading edge seam! That mess is CA that would not hold on this plastic.





Both the port and starboard wing sections had large mold short shots (?) at the joint of the leading edge. I am a messy modeler when using glue, but I swear this stuff won't stay glued. Tried gluing the bottom pieces to the center section in a progressive manner.....used Tenax, used Tamiya Xtra thin, nothing would hold it...so far.

Gee, is that all the gap you had? Man, mine had literal 1/8" gaps, big enough to drive a truck though! I had to squeeze some wide strip styrene between the gaps on mine along with some CA glue to fill them! Keep plugging man, you'll get it done!

Mine looked just as bad as yours. Just order another tube of putty and sandpaper.... You wil need it.

Duke and Borg - if that is supposed to make me feel better about this kit......it didn't. Well, not much anyway. I'll get something done with it.

That is the kind of juvenile behaviour is associate with my college days, swapping garden gnomes, stealing street signs, etc. etc. I have no clue what I was thinking at the time.

Couldn´t you just get a large wooden board and engrave the shape of a B-2? Gosh, this kit look so bad.
Take your time in China, maybe there will be a better kit available until you come back. Hopefully...

I am very disappointed in the membership of this forum! NO ONE bothered to break into my house and finish the B-2 for me. HHHHRRRUUUMMMPPPPFFFF! Geez Louise, this is a kit for the ages. One builder said in his review that he used over 500 grams of filler. That is almost 8 entire tubes of Squadron Green putty! I can see why.

I've been PSR-ing for some time since getting back from China. Today, I decided to go ahead and attach the upper and lower wings. Yowser! In every and any sense of the word "fit" it fails. But, I intend to duke it out with this thing. Gives me a chance to practice some things...like patience, filling, sanding, filling, sanding, patience, filling sanding, and so on.

I'm not at all worried about wiping out the raised panel lines, as the B-2 had none. It will be closed up (in flight) so, nothing to worry about in detail for the gear bays and bomb bay. This will simply be a ceiling hanger for the wife.





Even broke out the Liquid Styrene (old family recipie)



This thing is a mess. I expect to get it smooth enough to paint, decal and hang. It also provides some comic relief to you guys! Enjoy.
