Had big plans for yesterday, but as usual, I over-estimated what I could get done!
I did at least make some headway!

Scratched a torpedo sight...nothing in the kit or pe set to represent this.





Used a Squadron vacform canopy...it was a single piece, had the be cut apart. Got interior color sprayed.



PE set only had the one fin for the torpedo, I scratched the other (long one) with a piece of Arizona Sweet Tea aluminum (been a short while since I've broken that out!!!)

Wow...I must say this build and wing-fold is impressing me...

Really about as good as it gets in 72nd scale...

More impressive work! I'd swear that this was a 1/48th scale kit if it weren't for the title!

Main painting is done.

Went to stir up my IJN Green...big ole solid chunk of goop wrapped itself around the stir stick...no good!
Not willing to spend the hour+ and gas to go the the LHS, I mixed Med. Green and Insignia Blue. Added a splash of yellow for highlighting/fading.

Wow...first you mix your own recipe for Japanese 'caramel' and now you mix up your own IJN Green!!! Looks awesome and Iz can see the subtle shading!

man, a wish I could get your airbrush skills. I always end up covering my fading attempts :/

I agree. I think he's bluffing about the scale...ain't no way this be 72nd...

Great work on the torpedo fin. If there is Arizona Tea can being used, you know it is a Fermis build.
