Ahh that’s the great thing about primer, you can just do a little sanding and all is well. Looks oretty smart for your 1st time airbrushing!

Looks really good. The Easy Build kits have there place. The exterior detail is pretty good but, like you said, nothing on the interior. I built the Fw190D A few years ago and was quite pleased with the results

Nice work Stuart! Im sure that you're gonna enjoy airbrushing. It can never fully replace hand brushing, but using both methods can make things look a LOT better.
I'm actually quite enjoying it, not so sure about the masking but it's fun to be actually using the thing considering I've had it since last May!

Thanks! I always try to use primer with acrylics, even if I'm brush-painting.

It's not a bad kit I've built a few of their Easy build kits and enjoyed all of them.

I've got a few coats of black on (another one over this)...
...and I've masked it up for the top surfaces - God only knows how you're supposed to mask leading edges on a 1/72 aircraft!
And I've sort of done it anyway... Sort of.
Cheers!

Looks like you're getting the hang of this airbrush stuff Stuart.

Thanks Carlos!
Well here you go - not only am I throwing in my first attempt at airbrushing, but I'll also throw in my first attempt at free-handed two tone camo! Pretty much painted wet on wet as I was too impatient to let it dry more than five minutes.
Maybe not 100% accurate, but I just wanted to see what could be done.
My masking left a lot to be desired, I'll do the touch ups with a hairy stick.
Then I'd better paint the U/C and the engine. I'm looking forward for using the AB to do the clear coats, as that was one of the main reasons for getting one.
Cheers!

Thanks Gents! It's far from perfect but it's a start.
