Is it just me or is the two seater Hornet a nicer looking aircraft than the single seater? :hmm:

All hornets are awesome - this one being a super hornet two seater makes her the biggest and badest of the hornets.

I'm positive. The exterior set fit everything fine so far. The cockpit set, not even close.

And unlike almost all Super Hornet/Growler kits, this goes together a really strange way. There's the nose piece that goes all the way to the belly on the bottom, a top piece, a back underside fuselage, intakes that make up part of the side and then the wings. I foresee this going badly.

Adding PE to the fuselage.

:hmm: Very interesting construction Mike!

That exterior PE set looks good, what's the issue with the cockpit set?

As so it begins... :giggles:

Italeri has a habit of doing strange things with their kits. Be it an odd assembly step, oversized ordinances/belly tanks, etc...

Got the intakes built up and man these are horrible. I'll have to make intake covers for sure. They don't fit worth a damn to the fuselage so there will definitely be some filling and sanding coming up.

Man what is it with intakes and poor fitting? I'm sure you'll get them sorted though Mike!

You're winning. Boy those are some mean looking huge intakes.
