got all ahead of myself, and forgot to take progress pictures!! Whoopsies
anywho, got the camo on and shaded. All handpainted because I didn't feel like braking open the airbrush
gotta wait for this to cure a bit before I add gloss and decals

lol, you want "classic moulding tech", you need to check out their old Hawker Hunter. The boxart for the one I picked up (1975 boxing) shows a trio of all-black jets, so, of course.... the plastic is black!
That stuff took FOREVER to glue, it was more like ABS/plumbing plastic than styrene. It was... an experience.

For a weekend build a nice mordern kit with no fit problems is more appropiate. But two weeks is pretty fast none the less.

lol, yes, that would have worked much better. I was just thinking, NO COCKPIT, small parts counts, simple, wheels-up build. But that plastic, that PLASTIC!!!

It was even difficult stuff to use sanding films on.
Lesson learned!
