I could do. I have a PSP base but it's a bit large. We'll see. I have a couple of tail sitters that I've fashioned a tail stand out of clear sprue. When they are up on the shelf you really don't notice.

Do we need an F7F GB? I read a review that it takes 60 grams nose weight.

John, one of the problems I faced with my AMT Tigercat was attaching the main landing gear. if I recall, there are multiple attachment points, and the instructions would have you "fish" the gear assembly up into the nacelle. The gear assembly is kinda spindly and fragile and I could see trouble getting it into place. Instead, I installed them into the finished nacelle from the top and then mounted the nacelle to its respective wing half. I had to mask around the protruding landing gear (even placed a section of paper towel tube around each for protection) but that seemed easier than doing per instructions. I look forward to seeing your Tigercat build!

Thanks for the tip Gary. I have have the metal gear which may help, but I'll look into dry fitting etc.

You're welcome! I bought a set of metal LG for my Tigercat; in the end, I used some of the kit parts combined with the metal. Look into weighted plumbers' putty and pack the nose with that. Had I remembered that step, along with all the other weight I added, I believe my model would've sat on all three. As I had to resort to using the barrel and crate to prop up the rear anyway, I might as well just have used the kit parts and no ballast at all!

That’s where I’m at. Not even trying any weight. Barrel or a clear tail stand.
