Thanks folks! Yes Lyle, I'm pretty happy with the stripes, minimal bleed on ONE stripe, there is a little modulation in the paint although it really can't be seen in those pics. I do wish they had been a touch narrower though.

Alllllrighty then - work from Saturday afternoon, before running outta canned air. Both birds with their RLM 76 on:







The Hase kit (gun barrels molded in) has a higher demarcation line for the fuselage camo, the Academy kit basically has RLM76 near the exhausts, and on the tail unit, but basically none on the fuselage sides.

Annnnd today. This morning was a wash, drove MiT in town, wait, stopped at Michaels for a new air can, drop MiT off at the next spot, home 130-ish, got supper ready for the 4-ish pickup time. Sat down, not enough time to do the full-on masking tape & putty job that I wanted to do. THEN I find out the other half of tonight's carpool is out of the mix with the flu.

So, what's a modeler to do?? I bloody-well free-handed it, that's what, both the RLM 75 and RLM 83. Think I see some spots that need touched up... with some putty masking, when I do the mottle, but, not so bad.
