Thanks, Tom! I should have the new kit (it's sealed completely) by middle of next week if all goes well. I'll do sprue shots then.

How much did the MPC kit cost you Bruce? I’d love to have another shot at one and am curious as to the current going price…

Carlos! The cheapest option is the ROTJ release of the MPC X-Wing. The first release from SW are more expensive, about twice as much. ROTJ price is currently hovering at 30 bucks.

The kit arrived. I have not opened it yet; I have been so busy these past three days I have not had a chance to even contemplate how I’m going to tackle the ILM white over black paint scraped off with a Brillo pad look. I just don’t like a too white X-Wing; I like em gray and dingy and looking like their owners don’t care a lick about the paint job.
