Lyle, John, Gary, Tom, Mike, Bruce, John, Mark, amd Stuart, thanks you one and all for looking in and your kind feedback on this build.

Lyle, yes, this was a good way to close out this year.

John, yes, figures do help with armor. They are great to add a sense of scale, and some context to their historical use. The one with the turret in the top left is a M113 Fire Support Vehicle, essentially a light tank. The Aussies mounted a Saladin Armored Car turret with 76mm gun onto M113 hulls for direct fire support of their mech infantry units in Vietnam.

Gary & Tom, I loved doing the 113 family group photo. There are still a few more variants that I need to add.

Bruce, the both figures are in standing positions. I might add that there is no interior to this kit so nothing to quite properly and firmly seat them into position. I’ll have to see about trying to glue them into place to address the hand positions.

John, weathering armor is part of the fun of the genre. Giving them that used and lived in look is part of the allure and fun.

Mark, coming from the master of family collections in 1/72, your compliments carry true impact.

Stuart, I’m slowly getting a regular handle on my figure work. They truly do add to any vehicle build. And yes, the other hammerhead track behind the FISTV is an ITV. That one I made after one of my old rides. They two types are extremely similar in external appearance.
