Following along, Lyle! Interesting tape for the project but why not? I learned from my Dad to “de-tack” tape on top of pre-painted areas by cutting a piece then sticking and lifting off the tape from a piece of a clean cloth. I still do this especially with Tamiya. Also warm those cans before you use em by putting them in a pan of very warm (not hot) water. Not all the way full just enough to cover the bottom of the can. I find an old coffee mug is perfect for holding a single can of paint.

I de-tack the tap, too. Usually my jeans or T-shirt. Struggling with the anti glare panel today. Got impatient. So I re-do it tomorrow.

It make sense to mask the cockpit again (yeah I know) then sand the area beyond where the anti-glare goes, hit that with black and let that settle and cure, then re-do silver. Hi-yo!

Your B – 47 is looking really good Lyle! This was a good looking aircraft for sure. Would be cool to do a what if project with one of these in Southeast Asia camo for some special ops work.

Weather worries (you guys and we are supposed to get another 2-5 inches tomorrow) and a total lack of patience right now. I got the anti-glare shield done, now playing fix one over-spray, then fix the one you just fixed and repeat. So, I fixed one. put it down and broke out something else. My KC-10 decals are in a weather delay...somewhere in the Greater Louisville/surrounding area.

In my case it’s how many feet we’ll get Oh wait, our lake effect storm is over with. ROFLMAO!

2 - 5 inches is a walk in the park to us in Central NY.

I do get it that southern states are not usually equipped (depending on your area or state) to handle that amount of snow on a regular basis. Most times you get snow and it melts away within days after a storm.

Ewwww. SNOW is a four letter word. Haven't seen a flake since I moved to Florida six years ago. A friend, who has lived in south Florida for just short of 30 years, said he has seen frost once in that time span
