The Emhar kit is a very basic shortish run affair Kari - much like a classic kit from the 60's.

I do like to do something different.

I'm still working on them. Both have had nose weights added, intakes fitted and blended in, wings on and all the main seams filled and sanded where needed. Actually, the Starfire only needed a little dab of filler here and there to sort out the marks left by the sprues.

A bit more was needed around the nose of the F-80, but that was my fault - I stuck in far too much Liquid Gravity. Other than that it only needed some around the wing roots.



Both moving on - Tips tanks, canopies, next, along with tailplanes and shutting the airbrakes.

I know that feeling, and why is it always 03:30 in the morning?

I did a bit of work on this over the weekend as I fancied doing some work on Aircraft. Got he painting largely done on the Starfire - just a few touch ups to do and maybe some other colour NMF's on some panels.



I've also picked up a set of Vacform canopies to replace the one that was missing from the kit. I did try and get a replacement from Airfix (as it was their faulot) but basically got told to sod off.
