I didn't cut up any onion for some reason. I need to get me some of that pepper sauce. It was the first time, I think, using salt port. I like it. They were good.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Salt pork! :grin: That's the secret ingredient, imho. Gotta have some in any pot o' beans!

Usually I use smoked hocks. Salt pork would be awfully good in a pot of collards, too!

I will guarantee that. With cornbread and onions, a big bowl full of collard (or any other greens, really) greens is a one-dish meal! :grin:
