Stuart, that's one of the causes of glaucoma, get it treated right away. I take eye drops to reduce the eye pressure that causes it and that has forestalled nerve damage for 25 years or more.

Is it - that's news to me. Thanks John. My optician picked up on the thinning last year but it's taken me a year to get an appointment - good old NHS. I go in on the 15th. I've been told what was wrong i.e the thinning, but you're the first person that's mentioned what the issue actually is. Thanks!
