That's a hilarious image Carlos - A group a big hairy mean solider types watching a Wallace and Gromit film in the middle of a war zone!

Thanks Tom - no thankfully, it'll be mud free. :hmm: although I might add a wash to the engine.

Thanks for the interest Gents, I have done a bit more (mainly removing the flash from all the parts) and I'll post up some pictures later.

Looking forward, Stuart! This is one of those projects that seem deceptively simple, but having to address and finesse heavy mold parting lines can be a true test. Thanks again for posting.

Sorry Bruce for not updating this much - I'm still on track to get it finished by the 28th for my son's birthday, but I've been concentrating on getting it built, rather than taking photos. Here's were I am now.

It's not really a bad kit - the worst issue is the plastic. It does not like knifes, drills or sanding sticks so cleaning up the flash or sorting out the poor fit of the characters is a real hassle. If this kit had been moulded in something decent it would be awesome. the other real issue is the parts breakdown. having the engine and the frames moulded to the tank makes it a real pain to mask and paint.

All of that aside - it's been a lot of fun.

Cheers!
