Yeah…. My thoughts exactly. Overwhelmingly insane stash and so hard to choose from.Medicman71 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 06, 2026 7:59 am Now THAT"S a stash!! There's a million things i could build off that so I'll pick one when I get to it.

A someone who himself had cancer I am always saddened when I hear that cancer has made another victim. I count my blessings since I have been cancer free for 7 years. But it is grim reminder that not everyone is this lucky.
I will definitely be participating in this group build. And on a more positive note, I see a Tupolev I-4 in the stash list. Russian biplanes, that is exactly up my alley!

As a fellow cancer survivor, I stand with you Remco! Following my operation I was told I could not use my right arm or hand for anything more than picking up a newspaper for six months. One reason I joined spam was to relearn fine control. I also had to relearn to draw. So yes. This is personal for me as well.

I already have a couple in my stash I can do - P-3 Orion and a P-51D Mustang. One of the Mustang kits John had on his list doesn’t list the kit number for Hasegawa. I’ll use the one I purchased at Syrcon. The Orion kit I’ll have to find aftermarket decals for Pax River NAS. I planned on purchasing the Delta Dart or the Skyraider at some point this year.

Re: John Eaton Memorial Group Build
So looking at John's stash collection list (I converted it to an Excel Spreadsheet) I have the Tamiya P-51, Spitfire mk.I and P-38J - Are we allowed part started kits Tom (and by part started I mean a bit of work done to the cockpit)?

Yes, I was going to ask Tom about doing this since I have the 1/28 Sopwith Camel by Revell partly built already and John had commented on how he would build it while I was struggling with it. For me, it would be a way to reanimate a doom child!

You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Re: John Eaton Memorial Group Build
John was scheduled up to build his 32 Ford 5 window in my GB on another forum. I plan to do that kit for him and I started a thread here just for that. I did not see this GB was up. I'll just move my build over here. He didn't build many cars so this one is an outlier for sure.
