This thing has a wingspan of a bit over 23", so it takes up some space! I had forgotten how big it was.

I actually have 6 more - 3 DC-3 and three C-47. Love this guy.

Seams cleaned up pretty good or so it appears to me. I'll post some pics later. Been one hell of a day and a half.

used the rattle can chrome...6 dollars a can versus 8-9 dollars for Alclad.

That chrome finish looks nice. I often use spray can for metallics. My suggestion would be to put an oil wash over the chrome finish and that a flat coat, that gives a very nice "used" look to your model.

Thanks, gentlemen. Borg, I think she will be fairly shiny as the airline would keep the ship pretty clean. I guess I'll get an old sock out and rub it down.
