I sent a mail to their address to ask delivery costs to Belgium. Let's see the price. I also asked if they have some retailers selling their stuff here in the old world

Good news, that you will soon have Gator grip glue. I am still experimenting with Pacer Canopy Glue as a bonder between metal and plastic. At least in 1/48. I am able to glue white metal struts to plastic and PE parts as well. I like having a bit of a shock absorbing effect, particularly with the struts. I thought the Duke’s comment about temperature to be a point well taken, too.

This is a short ramble, but I am curious how you choose glues. I like 3M non gel CA because it is cost effective and sets in 10 seconds. That’s what I found works best for most “stick it quick, no load and strain” operations. For newish styrene, I use Mr Cement S, but I also have regular Mr Cement, which is slightly thicker and more or less like Tamiya. Basically I feel I am becoming a very Gunpla/Mecha Mr Hobby member operating in a Tamiya world, and if that’s my shtick, than I’m okay with it for the moment.

So, what glues are you using....

I had started to write an answer, which I realised very quickly will be tooooo long and needs a post of its own.
So, let's jump into Glues I use
and continue there!

A little bit ongoing...

I had drilled some holes in the fuselage, where the mid fuselage bomb-rack would be attached.
However, looking at the reference picture, there is no bombrack what so ever...
So next step was to back fill those holes.

"Stretched sprue rules"
In other words, take a piece of stretched sprue, dipped in glue, push it firmly into the hole and let dry. After a moment just cut the rest off, some sanding and the hole magically disappears!




During this process I got some curious audience watching the work...

A tiny update, most of the fuselage and wings primed except the engine panels etc that I will do in a separate session.

I am using Ammo Migs One Shoot Primer, that I have understood is the same stuff as Stynylrez or UMP Primer. Shoots nicely, very smooth and nice result.
