I’d recommend San Diego over LA anytime. I think that city has fewer pretensions than LA does. LA is too busy trying to live up to their Hollywood glitz and glamour image. And the freeways... well rush hour is now several hours long in the morning and evening, and worse depending upon direction that one is heading. Weekends are just as bad, and for almost as long....

Yes I sure plan to move. Can’t stand the way that things are heading in this state, and my pension will go much further elsewhere.

So where are you planning your move to? There's always Central NY..... Surely you don't mind winter...….

Thank you very much, but I have had enough of snow winters in Europe. I prefer warmer climes... But we are looking at Arizona. Much more sensibly run (no nanny state like here), good affordability, and not too long of a drive to visit the kids or friends.

In school we would text images without explanation to create a wordless dialogue... after all the armor struggles, I go searching for pilots and planes...
