I aint forgotcha there Medic. I tried to post it three friggin' times and the internet froze every time I was getting ready to post. I have it in a word document now so I can merely copy and paste it without losing the whole thing again. I'll have it today for you.

Okeedokee bud. I’ve gone back through your build and found that you’re using AK Real Colors which is an acrylic lacquer-based paint. I used Vallejo Air Colors for my build and then used Model Master Acrylic Gloss Clear for the clear coat. I think you’ll be ok with the MIG Productions wash that I used but test on a separate piece just to confirm this. All I do is shake the bottle of wash just a few times. Don’t shake it too much or the wash will be overpowering in being too dark. The object is weathering, not a big dark paint tinting job. All I do is dab a brush into the wash and then put a drop around a few panel lines and rub it in with my finger until there’s no trace of smearing. You’ll see what I mean when you do it. It’ll end up all going into the panel lines, around rivets and becoming part of the paint job. If you get a spot that does look like a smear then just use the same approach with a little thinner the likeness of the wash solution you’re using. In my case it was the MIG wash thinner. It’s real easy to get carried away with the wash so make sure that you either shake the bottle only a few times or thin the wash down to your liking. After that I used a flat coat consisting of Model Master Flat Clear Acrylic thinned with Model Master Acrylic Thinner and a few drops of rubbing alcohol and one drop of light gray for a faded effect. The usage of the alcohol seems to flatten the coat even more. I can’t think of much more than that but if you’ve got any questions let me know and if I think of anything else then I’ll surely follow up. Hope this helps.

Very cool! I use all the same products too. What color wash did you use? I may have to order some. I have a lot of MiG panel line washes but only a couple of regular washes.

I use this stuff here. You can use it as a lighter shade of wash too. Just don't shake it as much when you use it. It's worked for me all these years. Especially with acrylic finishes.

Time to go shopping......I think. I need to look at my other stuff.

Stated weathering the Dauntless. I just started on the tail to see how it looked. What do you guys think?
