Oh.....found another Czech Model kit in the stash. So, I have two more to be built. I don't remember buying this one. Oh well.

canopy/windscreen done...I am quite pleased. In the end, it was less trouble to mask each individual frame, paint it, remove the tape, etc. than trying to mask the window itself.

Except for a couple of minor, tiny little divots along the belly seam, I'm calling this one, done did.

It is not a perfect matching/mating by far, but given the time spent and what would be required to get it more correct, it isn't worth that much trouble. I'm happy. I think. We will see when some paint goes on it. The fuselage and wings have been rubbed down with 0000 steel wool. That stuff is great for polishing up things. Then you can hold them up to the light at an angle and see any blemishes. Look out Williams Bros Boeing 247!





Now, off to have some lunch. What will it be? Canned Chef Boyoardee Mini Ravioi or a SPAM sandwich? Can't say for sure.

You did a fantastic job masking and painting that windscreen, oh man. That is by far the most challenging aspect of this hobby for me. Very nicely done Lyle. I’m enjoying the heck out of this thread. You’re doing great work.
