Beautiful start to that engine! Nice work! This will be interesting to watch.

That engine is going to look sweet!

I think that describes my excitement very well with this build.

That Hellcat engine looked like he had a bad hair day.KennyX wrote:Thank you, PL, and Duke! And Duke, this one’s for you buddy, here we go:
I have installed the ignition ring and cover on the old crank case.
I plan on priming this, painting it, and then installing the cylinder heads after they’ve been painted. I’m going to do them one at a time and wire each one up individually, and see how that sequence works for me.

Thank you, fellas. I don’t see any reason why not to get some Mr. Surfacer 1500 on this bad boy and start painting it, and the cylinders. I’ll get moving on that here soon, probably in the next day or two. I just want to finish the Zeke’s cockpit module first and that’s nearly done.

What I said earlier! I have tried and tried to glue ignition wires on engines. They stick to my fingers.

It’s a pain in the ass.
And I won’t do it smaller than 1:48. And frankly, I’m going to discontinue doing it in 1:48 scale unless I can get a PE harness. It’s infuriating work.
I plan on installing and wiring the cylinders one at a time to make it easier. We’ll see how that goes.

Nice work on the engine, Kenny! Interested to see what the completed resin engine will look like with all of that added detail! It looks like the wiring harness has been designed to fit exactly around the cylinders so hopefully it will be a clean and easy process.
