Lyle, Thank you for the photos! I could easily see how dear belts and a lot of other parts situations could be adroitly handled with each.

Double checked the copper tape. looks to have an adhesive backing. You can see how much I use.

Works for me to have some sticky to it! I can always go to my “nuclear option” and use Humbrol thinner to remove that stickum.

Notes and Questions

I polished the painted cross with microfiber cloth to see if the small raised areas would buff smooth; and buff smooth the edges did, so all I need to do is wash off the two pencil hash marks on the left side and get busy making the other side tonight to match that.

The kit comes with a simplified version of the ETC 500 bomb rack which I would like to convert to the standard drop tank rack. I think. Is anyone able to confirm this?

I know the ETC 501 bomb rack on an Fw 190 could also be used for a 300 liter drop tank so I can only assume that the ETC 500 could also carry a fuel tank as well. I'm assuming that because in combat situations war machines have to be at least somewhat versatile to mission demands. Just sayin. I'm curious if this was truly the case for the 109 as well.
