Thanks, Stuart. I think my torsion bar support is still putty rough. I’ll smooth it tonight. Here’s my sketch of the support used for stowage, at least that’s what I think is happening here.



Yes, planning to add stowage in spots - sides, rear deck, glacis.

That bar in the front is to hold extra track links that also acts as supplemental armor, giving extra protection there. The giveaway on that tank as a reference for that kit is the rear turret bin. Only a very few Panzer II units were so equipped.

No but serious, it makes sense to put some extra weights in, becomes more ”real”.
I know a few builders who do precisely the same

Hi Tom, Thanks for your comments. Reference above earlier in my thread with Stuart about adding weight to the Panzer II for a proper answer.

Carlos, Yes. This tank has balls. I actually added a bit of Milliput to cover the top of them - loose balls aboard a tank are not wanted, eh? What I also find amusing (modeler humor) is that one of the designers I work with is unloading her ball bearing collection on me. Well, why not? Recycling! I have not asked yet what her source of the bearings is; I might not like that answer.

Kari, Are you in Finland? Yes, referencing Stuart’s well-taken point about stance, which I agree with completely. Tanks are heavy objects. Nothing kills the effect of realism faster than a tank model which sits too high.
