Here is the promised X-29 update.
I spent some time with making the canards rotatable and give some paint to sections where it would be difficult to paint after assembly .

Very cool! I like the work on the X-29. Taking notes for mine.

What’s your plan with the colors? How are the decals?

I always appriciate that you guys are so interested in my work.
And it is a shame that I had not much time when I was in DC to see all those great aircrafts. So thanks for your image Bruce.
The decals seem to be typically Hasegawa. Thick and I guess the blue is too dark.
Once it is prepared for painting I will prime it in black. Then I will apply thin layers of thinned white to created a subtile effect as I had done it in the Convair. This is Not to create a used look but to break a toylooking gloss white surface. So coloring concept has been shown on the intake coloring.

Cool! I was going to do mine in "What If" markings.

I am interested in your What-if X-29. Any pictures to show?

I haven't even started it. Although it's high on my list.
