It always does for me...

I spent about an hour and fifteen minutes this morning not only riveting but also going over ALL of the other existing rivets and making them the same size as the ones I applied over the last two days to make everything look uniform. I've got mixed feelings but we'll see how it looks in the overall scheme of things. Fingers crossed.............................
No pics yet as it would be a waste of time. Will hopefully get rolling on this and post some worthwhile pictures soon.

Oh come on! - we NEED pictures of those rivets so we can count them

For what this is worth I've got the top riveted but I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand I feel good about the overall riveting and on the other I don't get that warm and fuzzy feeling.

They look pretty good to me Joe – ok so you need to do a bit more tidy up and de-burring in places but they look to be about the same size as those in the clear part (which I assume is an unaltered kit part).
They also look equally spaced.
I’d be happy with that!

Mate,
Better than some of my efforts. Under a coat of paint they should look fine.

Thanks Kent.
I've been working on the starboard engine nacelle fit onto the wing and that's been a slow process but I think I've got it mostly ironed out. I just need to work on the front area where it joins with the leading edge of the wing and I should be good. Lots of figuring out where the problem areas are in regards to flush fit and lots of sanding. I don't have the nacelle glued to the wing just yet because I'd like to prime and paint the area on the inside of the lower wing between the fuselage and the nacelle but here's where I'm at with it so far:

looking pretty spot on down the sides - what are you going to do on the LE - use a tiny bit of filler?
